Kırkıncı Ağabey’s Call for Peace

What He Said?What Happened?

Adnan Oktar: Masha’Allah, this means that our offensive and efforts for peace have been heeded by Almighty Allah since such excellent developments are taking place, insha’Allah. There will be even better and finer developments, insha’Allah.

We must avoid behavior that might set Muslim against Muslim: That is both a sin and unlucky and unproductive. Allah dislikes such ugly behavior. Nobody should encourage it and we will not allow it. That is out of the question. Fuss and noise are all in vain.

Allah is giving a fine response to our peace initiative. Provocative behavior used to take place before; there was fighting tooth and nail. Now people have an intense desire for peace, brotherhood and love. This is excellent. Because this is a test from Allah, Allah creates a climate of conflict; He uses believers as His instrument and creates a climate of peace. What Allah really wants is peace. Allah does not want fighting. Why does fighting take place? Allah creates it. And who is it who does away with that strife? Allah. He makes us His instrument.

Adnan Oktar: Everywhere is a river of blood. The whole world is crying out for lack of the system of the Mahdi. Lovelessness, ruthlessness, cruelty, division, fragmentation and a spirit of conflict have enfolded the world. May Allah forbid. These latest events in Turkey are also very disturbing, of course. Allah has made it unlawful for Muslims to fight one another. Allah says, “I will bring you down in that event.” “If you fight one another I will take away your strength. I will take away your foresight and understanding. I will put fear into your hearts. You will be defeated,” he says. That is why nobody should encourage such a thing.

We will make peace with whomever we have fallen out with. We will make peace with whomever we are enemies with. We will be brothers and establish Islamic Union in the world. Otherwise, there would be no Islamic Union and no paradise in the hereafter. We will quell our anger. We will know how to forgive. We will forgive, no matter what.

Adnan Oktar: “In the End Times, in the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), there will be a struggle among Muslims.” Look, this is something foretold from the time of our Prophet (saas). Look, our Prophet (saas) says, The Mahdi will not appear until two Muslim communities with the same aims and objectives fight with one another.” And this has happened in the End Times, as you see. “And when Muslims fall out,” says our Prophet (saas), when they quarrel with one another, when they fight one another, “bring them together,” says Almighty Allah. Almighty Allah says this is an obligation upon you.

“Muslims are literally like a single body in terms of loving and having compassion for one another and feeling affection for one another,” says our Prophet (saas). In other words, they are like a body dependent on a single brain; this is a verse describing Islamic Union. “If one limb has a complaint,” if the arm hurts, for example, “... the other organs will join in with sleeplessness and fever.” The brain will not sleep, he says, because of the pain; the body will not sleep at all. He says that people’s temperatures will rise. He is saying the whole body will fall ill when one Muslim is sick. This hadith appears in both Bukhari and Muslim.

Kırkıncı Ağabey, one of the followers of Bediüzzaman, has made a call for peace. In his statement, he cited the master’s advice to stay away from politics, always to behave in a moderate manner and to study the signs leading to faith.

“We are all members of one body. In the same way that if any of the organs in our bodies fall ill the entire body feels unwell, we are extremely distressed by these events taking place. I pray that these incidents and tensions between the government and the hodja’s community will be resolved peacefully as soon as possible and that our union and unity will continue,” he said.
