Joy of Faith in the Psalms

Sing for joy to God our strength; shout aloud to the God of Jacob! Begin the music, strike the tambourine, play the melodious harp and lyre. (Psalms, 81:1-2)
I will praise You with the harp for Your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praise to You with the lyre, O Holy One... My lips will shout for joy when I sing praise to You— I, whom You have redeemed. My tongue will tell of Your righteous acts all day long, for those who wanted to harm me have been put to shame and confusion. (Psalms, 71:22-24)
Let the saints rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds! (Psalms, 149:5)
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth! Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs! Know that the Lord is God! It is He who made us, and we are His… Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name! (Psalms, 100:1-4)
But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful. Sing to God, sing praise to His name… and rejoice before him. (Psalms, 68:3-4)
Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to Him on the ten-stringed lyre. (Psalms, 33:2)
It is good to praise the Lord and make music to Your name, O Most High, to proclaim Your love in the morning and Your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp! (Psalms, 92:1-3)
Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre! (Psalms, 150:3)
