In The Netherlands, Students Argue Against Evolution With The Works Of Harun Yahya

Nederlands Dagblad, one of the dailies of the Netherlands with approximately 35 thousand readers, devoted a place to the article titled “Muslims Look at Evolution with Suspicion” written by Door Willem Bouwman on December 12^th, 2008. In the article, it is stated that the students of the University of Vrije in the Netherlands, making use of the works of Harun Yahya, argue with their lecturers stating that the theory of evolution does not exist. The article also mentions the following:  

Muslim students who study Biology at the University of Vrije refuse the theory of evolution. This situation poses a problem for the lecturers… Meetings between lecturers and students were organized to discuss this problem The Muslim movement led by Adnan Oktar, aka Harun Yahya… Oktar wrote books about this subject and his articles are published on the web site www.harunyahya.com. His works consist of ideas that refute the theory of evolution and claim that it is a deceit. Lecturers of biology at the University of Vrije face with the writings of Adnan Oktar as answers on exam papers of Muslims students who refuse evolution.
