In his interviews , Mr. Adnan Oktar explained several times that it is better if Öcalan stays in prison for the sake of the country , and if he gets out of prison his life would be in danger. After Mr. Adnan Oktar’s explanations, writer and academician Hüseyin Yayman said that Öcalan doesn’t want to leave Imralı Prison because he is afraid of a conspiracy. A9 TV: November 22nd, 2014 ADNAN OKTAR: If I didn’t go against it, they would have already released him (Öcalan). And they would also have self-government. I didn’t let them, on my own. We have talked about it all day and night. Otherwise, he would definitely become the prime minister. They would give him broad authority; I didn’t let them. We don’t want anybody to be in prison, but if he received a punishment, and if he committed a crime, fairly, he should stay in the prison. Otherwise, there would be no justice, no law. And if there is no justice and law, there would be no life. We have to do that, and he will accept this. Nobody wants to be in the prison. If he cares about the balance of the world, for the sake of the country, if he cares about the benefits of the nation, if even a little conscience remains in him, he shouldn’t want to get out of the prison. And if he gets out, there would be a very big fitna and they would shoot him. They would shoot him in a week. He is living there in safety, and he is already old, these are the last years of his life. A9 TV: March 19th, 2014 ADNAN OKTAR: As I said before, if Abdullah Öcalan gets out of the prison, they wouldn’t let him live, firstly the PKK wouldn't let him live. The opposition inside them wouldn't let him live. The terrorists of Iraq and the terrorists of Syria wouldn't let him live. He has a lot of opposition. It shouldn’t be inhumane; he can live there in humane conditions. And frankly our government is taking care of him very well. He has a doctor, he has a nurse; he is living in the lap of luxury. But if they torture him, it would be unjust. If they hurt him with their words, if they not allow him to see his relatives it wouldn’t be true, he can see his relatives. Everything should be normal and humane. A9 TV: December 16th, 2013 ADNAN OKTAR: Will they release Abdullah Öcalan? How will they reduce his sentence? Over a hundred thousand people were martyred. A lot of people were martyred. He is responsible for all of them. Also he is safe there, if he gets out, they would kill him. The Kurds wouldn’t let him live, and also many people wouldn’t let him live. Outside is too risky for him; he is very safe there. If he is uncomfortable in the current conditions, it is different then, the conditions may be changed. A9 TV: March 30th, 2013 ADNAN OKTAR: Öcalan is powerful because he is in prison right now. Because he is very well protected. If he gets out, this would immediately change. Öcalan is not a person that the communist would take seriously. A9 TV: October 17th, 2014 (Öcalan doesn’t want to go to any other prison other than the one on the island. So they are searching for a suitable prison) ADNAN OKTAR: No, it is good there. Because on land would be very dangerous. The sea is protective. There may be indignation and people may raid the prison and lynch him. That would be very, very dangerous. Sometimes, people get boiled over. And they may get in the prison. We know the classical prison; nothing like that can happen there. For example there are some little prisons. The district prisons would be very dangerous. They would destroy the walls and everything, they would ravage it and get in, and they would kill him. This shouldn’t happen. He is very well protected there. It is the safest place for him. |
