Great ahl al-Sunnah scholars stated that 'The life span of the Islamic community will be up until the year 1500 (the hegira style)''

The hadith transmitted from our Prophet (saas) give the year 1400 according to the Islamic calendar as the date of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) who will appear in the End Times. Our Prophet (saas) speaks of people beginning to gather around Hazrat Mahdi (as) in 1400, and that this will be followed by a 100-year period of dominion. During this 100-year period the moral values of Islam will rule the world and the system of the dajjal, which opposes the moral values of the religion, will completely disappear. Following that period however, in the 1500s according to the Islamic calendar, the world will enter a new process of corruption and, according to the views of great ahl al-Sunnah scholars as-Suyuti and al-Barzanji, who made statements in line with the hadiths of the Prophet (saas), the life span of the Islamic community will come to an end. (Allah knows the truth.)
