Free Internet is something Mr. Adnan Oktar often mentions on his TV program. Shortly after Mr. Adnan Oktar mentioned this issue, Internet began to be provided for free at many locations. A9 TV: June 19th, 2013 ADNAN OKTAR: Internet must be free in Turkey. When you click you must be able to connect. No waiting. The government must do this, whatever the cost. Anyone must be able to get Internet and there should not be any limitations. They must be able to visit whichever site they want. Why forbid it? It is very humiliating. Anywhere in Turkey, Internet must be wireless, not with cables and no part of the Internet should be limited. So anyone can enter anywhere they want. It is a very strange thing: “This site is blocked, you cannot enter.” Oh my God. Here? “This site is also blocked. You cannot enter.” If he wants, he will enter it somehow. Why is it not limited for Europeans but it is to Turkish people? People should be able to enter and look around. They should be able to do anything they want. They must be free. A9 TV: September 12th, 2013 ADNAN OKTAR: Our Prime Minister must find a solution to this; this is very embarrassing in the 21st Century. When they connect to the Internet, they must be able to visit anywhere they want. And it must be wireless and free as well. Culture is essential. You want people to be both cultivated and yet set limitations and boundaries: What about that? A9 TV: August 18th, 2013 ADNAN OKTAR: Mr. Prime Minister, for God’s sake, please this quota limitation on the Internet. It is very disturbing. This RTUK is one and Internet quota is two. It is completely unnecessary. Internet must be free. Get taxes, get everything; let’s pay for it so people can use the Internet and share all sorts of information. Let’s not put any limitations on it: Don’t enter here, don't enter there; they must be able to enter anywhere they want. They must be able to look anywhere, search for anything, talk about anything and read anything. Let’s not put up any boundaries. Let’s be free. Wireless. No cables. For example, in Istanbul everyone must be able to use the Internet free of charge. It is like a radio broadcast, a television broadcast. When you open the Internet, bam, you must be able to connect instantly. |
