East Turkestan Reaction From Turkey To China

2293
What He Said?What Happened?

In his conversation, programs as well as in his articles and books published worldwide, Mr. Adnan Oktar has been pointing out the oppressive policies China has implemented over the Muslims of East Turkestan, and recently he stated that necessary initiatives must be taken in order to prevent inhuman practices like prohibiting the Uyghur Turks from Ramadan fasting and performing other acts of worship.

Following this statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave notice to China about the incidents in East Turkestan. Our President, Mr. Erdogan, will also visit with the Chinese government soon.

About China’s Pressure On East Turkestan

ADNAN OKTAR: Why does China do this to herself? What would happen if only China let go of East Turkestan and let these people live in peace and become brothers and sisters with them? What is this hatred of East Turkestan? Why this cruelty? Why this ruthlessness? It is a crying shame.

Actually, if Turkey protested to China with clear statements from our President and Prime Minister, then China could turn about. We've insisted on this before and met with their ambassador here. They invited us to China. Then they bettered the conditions there; they changed a lot. Chinese people were also affected by that oppression. Our brothers in East Turkestan told us that their conditions changed a great deal for the better. But then there was a sudden breakdown again.

"This must be known; Xinjiang people as a whole exercise the freedom of belief entitled to them by the Chinese constitution… Of course, we hope that the Turkish side will meet with China and strike a balance in order to restore relations.”
