Denmark’s prominent people of politics, arts, business world, diplomacy and the press met at an Iftar (fast breaking dinner) which was given at the Parliament. The organization was carried out with the cooperation of Ozlem Cekic, the parliamentarian of Socialist People Party, and the message of demolishing the prejudices came into prominence.
Benedikte Kiaer, the Minister for Social Affairs of Denmark, was the honorary guest of the Iftar where Muslims, Christians and Jews came together as Ozlem Cekic stated: “For the very first time in Denmark, people from different faiths, cultures and political views came together.”
