The ability to move with the slightest breeze...
Feathery or wing-like structures capable of flight...
A very light body...
These are some of the properties of seeds carried by the wind.
Let us imagine a coconut.
It is of course impossible for a seed of that size and weight to be borne by the wind.
All seeds carried by the wind are actually very light, and their shapes are ideally suited to flying.
Let us look at this plant with its lovely flowers.
The stem of the plant, that has begun drying out under the effect of the Sun, separates from the soil in a strong wind.
By means of their special shape, the seeds begin rolling down the road.
But some plants spread their seeds by the wind.
These seeds that resemble a helicopter in shape move by spinning around and fall easily onto the soil.
This plant’s seeds are also carried by the, wind but have an entirely different shape.
Supported on paper-thin wings, they can fly distances of up to hundreds of meters.
As soon as the seed lands, the wings dry and snap off and the plant begins to sprout again.
These few examples show us the glorious variety in plant seeds. Allah, the Creator of all, has flawlessly created plants.
I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed satan
Your God is Allah alone, there is no god but Him. He encompasses all things in His knowledge. (Surah Ta Ha, 98)
