Cardinal Dionigi Tettamanzi, Archbishop of Milan, takes sides with Muslims regarding the mosque to be established in Milan. Cardinal Archbishop Tettamanzi stated that freedom of faiths should be taken into consideration involving everyone saying; “Milan’s need of a mosque should be met. Muslims should also be able to live their faith within the scope of law.” Cardinal Archbishop Dionigi Tettamanzi also drew attention to Muslims’ hiring a theatre tent to perform the tarawih prayer as an indicative to Muslims’ requirement of a place of worship.
