Azan after 400 years in Pec, a relic of Ottoman Empire

In Pec, city of Hungary, one of the most important organizations that arises the attention is the Turkish Culture Activities named as “Hilal”. After 4 centuries have past, adhan (Muslim call to prayer) resounds through the skies of the city. In scope of a program covering Turkey and the Balkans, the adhan will be performed at the tower of the Municipality of Pec for three weeks.
