An Explosion of Interest in Islam in the USA

A report describing the continued rise in interest in Islam since the Sepember 11 terror attacks contained the following lines:

“After September 11, many universities opened departments regarding Islamic history and culture and added lectures. Sales of books about Islam has risen…  right now, the Americans are highly interested in Islam. ”
