BULENT SEZGİN: We are continuing with our esteemed guest from Israel, Rabbi Yeshayahu.
OKTAR BABUNA: Rabbi Yeshayahu HaKohen Hollander has the title of "Cohen" which symbolizes his lineage from the Prophet Aaron. Apart from his long-term religious education as a Rabbi, he received his education in theoretical physics and he also is a licensed patent attorney. Previously, he was responsible for Foreign Affairs in the Sanhedrin Rabbinical Court and acted as the Co-Chair of the Jerusalem Court for Issues of Bnei Noah. He has taught religious classes as well as Tel Aviv University. Currently he responds to questions on Judaism from people around the world.
OKTAR BABUNA: Rabbi Hollander, welcome again.
RABBI HOLLANDER: Thank you.
ADNAN OKTAR: We heard that there was going to be a Sanhedrin meeting in the coming days.
OKTAR BABUNA: Yes, they will be gathering next Wednesday in Jerusalem.
ADNAN OKTAR: How very nice. The Sanhedrin is an important, a sacred community that is referred to in the Qur’an. Insha’ Allah, may God make these meetings instrumental in the advent of the Messiah, Moschiach. May God make them instrumental for peace in the world, for the salvation of the world. May God end the fighting, wars, terror and violence. May God destroy all the weapons. May God grant the world the happiness, peace, prosperity mentioned in the Torah, the Qur’an and the Bible.
You know, Almighty God says in the 155th verse of the Surah al-A’raf, “And Moses chose seventy of his people for Our place of meeting”. This is a sacred community that is specifically mentioned in the Qur’an. Praise be to God. This community could not convene for centuries due to the oppression of the anti-messiah system. You know they were abolished in 358 AD . Although its reassembly was a greatly desired occurrence and although our Jewish brothers worked very much for it, God allowed it to happen only in recent years. After an interlude of almost 1,650 years. After 1,650 years, in 2004, the Sanhedrin reassembled.
Another important quality of the Sanhedrin is how it is the authority that will introduce King Maschiah to the Jewish people; it is therefore very important. When the esteemed members of this community point to a person and say ‘obey this person’, we will understand that this person is the Messiah, and then believers will be obliged to follow him. The Rabbis of the Sanhedrin released a statement in 2008. In this statement, they said that they decided that they needed to speed up the process of the advent of the Messiah. They said, “The signs of the Footsteps of the Messiah have come already.” Alhamdullilah (Thank God). They also said, “Now is a very special time for the coming salvation… The signs foretold by the Prophets regarding the redemption continue to be fulfilled… Therefore the Court rules: The time of the Redemption has come.” Masha’ Allah, alhamdullilah.
More from the Sanhedrin announcement on August 9, 2008:
“The Sanhedrin Court turns to the Holy Public as follows:
The signs of the Footsteps of the Messiah have come already and now is a very special time for the coming salvation. The “Chafetz Chaim” pointed out that during the Sabbatical year, there is an awakening above, and therefore it is incumbent upon us to be doubly strengthened in the fear of Heaven, prayer, learning, and in acts of kindness. God will see from His holy dwelling and will turn the days of mourning to joy and happiness.
Thus says God of Hosts:
“The fast of the fourth, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth will be for the house of Judah for joy and happiness and for appointed holidays, and truth and peace you shall love.” (Zechariah 8:19)
Our eyes saw, and not a foreigner, that not a single one of Your words have returned empty handed. The prophecies regarding the redemption continue to be fulfilled, in other words, the signs of Moschiahc’s advent continue to be fuilfilled. And words of holy Torah:
“And if they will be dispersed to the ends of heavens, from there the Lord your God will gather you.” (Deuteronomy 30:4)
That also happened. Masha’ Allah, all the Jews gathered in Israel. This is a miracle. This is one of the very surprising miracles of God.
“The prophet Ezekiel prophesied that “the desolate land will be like Eden”, and so too the rest of the prophets. In other words, it became green again.
Beside the happiness of the redemption, there is the fear of destruction, the spoiled fruit of weak faith. It is incumbent upon us to be strengthened and to do whatever is possible to speed up the act and to build the ruins of Jerusalem, and at their head, our Temple, to the height of mountains.
Therefore the Court rules: The time of the Redemption has come. Speeding it up is in our heads, so that we can be among those that are meritorious.”[i]
Insha’Allah, by the grace of God, the love of God will dominate the world. This greatness, this beauty described in the Torah and in the Qur’an, will come about. May God allow us to see Moschiach very soon. May God allow us to follow Moschiah/Mahdi very soon, insha’ Allah. Let the love for God spread everywhere. Let the fear trapping countries, nations be gone. Let the calls for war, for fighting be gone. Let the wars end, let the weapons be destroyed. May the God of Hosts spread His holy dominion soon. Insha’ Allah, I will also be the student of Moschiach. Insha’ Allah you will also be his students. May God soon unite countries with love, happiness and prosperity insha’ Allah. May God with His grace, allow people to travel freely, safely, without any fear, and live peacefully. We are in that period of time. May God give us strength, may God keep us from losing heart. May God help us all.
We consider this assembly a sacred, a holy meeting. Sanhedrin is a sacred community referred to both in the Qur’an and the Torah. I pay my respects to all of them. I am sending my deepest regards and love to all of them. Insha’ Allah, they will be instrumental in great things. Insha’ Allah, they will play a key role in the domination of love and peace in the world, and I believe that they will do that, insha’ Allah. May God make them instrumental in introducing us Messiah, Moschiach. May God bless them, shower them with His blessings. May God give them long lives.
In Numbers 11, 16-17, “The Lord said to Moses: ‘Bring me seventy of Israel’s elders who are known to you as leaders and officials among the people. Have them come to the tent of meeting, that they may stand there with you.’”
Thank God, because God reassembled this sacred community again. Insha’ Allah, they will be means for great days.
RABBI HOLLANDER: Thank you very much. I’ve not been appointed to bless Mr. Oktar but I do bless Mr. Oktar. I’m a Kohen, maybe it has some influence in the sight of the Almighty; with long life, in good health and sound mind, full capability and I bless all brothers and sisters who are helping Mr. Oktar with the same blessing of long life and good health and inspiration from the Almighty to do the best they can to help bring peace in the world, to help us celebrate Moschiach together in Jerusalem. And then you will come to Jerusalem, finally?
ADNAN OKTAR: Insha’ Allah, you will also be there. Following Moschiach, we will enter through the gate, insha’ Allah. Those days are close and we are determined. I’m paying my deepest respects to all the members of Sanhedrin. I send my love to all of them. I pray for all of them. May God bless all of them with long, blessed, peaceful lives. May God give them strength, influence and success. May God increase their influence and power.
RABBI HOLLANDER: Amen, amen
ADNAN OKTAR: Amen, insha’ Allah. Thank you very much. Greetings to everyone in Israel.
RABBI HOLLANDER: I am sure they will reciprocate when we get back together for this. God bless you. If I have any power [merit], I give blessing from my mind, from heart to you. And I’m sure that the Sanhedrin will follow and bless you for success in all your efforts.
ADNAN OKTAR: We love all of them, we love all of them, masha’ Allah. There will be very good days. And we will be together in Heaven too, insha’ Allah. With Prophet Moses, with Prophet Abraham (peace be upon them all).
RABBI HOLLANDER: Paradise will be here. In Istanbul, In Jerusalem. Paradise will be all over.
ADNAN OKTAR: Insha’Allah.
