The Prophet Joseph (pbuh) is an honest person through and through. He did not act with his instincts but with his good conscience. Where did his good conscience take him? To prison. He placed his trust in God and what happened eventually? Almighty God made him the Sultan of Egypt. He ate the most beautiful food, wore the most beautiful clothes and is given the most beautiful ranks in Heaven.

When sending off a martyr they should do so with their own uniforms that they were martyred in, with their bloody uniforms without putting them into a coffin, out in the open. They should put them on a Turkish flag with their clothes drenched in blood and walk their blessed bodies around in the city, making the place resound with salawats, saying Allahu Akbar. That tension which will be formed would turn into an inconceivable power. The spiritual power it will provide would make the whole world quiver, let me tell you that much. It might appear as if a person loses a lot while acting in all sincerity; the fact is, however, that person gains a lot in secret. You look at that person and see that he gets into trouble and loses his goods, his means. However God eventually gives him abundance. In the meantime, the other one might think that he will attain goods and means by crushing his good conscience but the world escapes from him while he pursues worldly goals. That person would suffer enormously. That is a devastating groveling, a devastating chase.
