There should be a strong cultural struggle against terror and a strong struggle to equip our youth with a national conscience. Before all else there should be courses on national consciousness, courses three times a week on national consciousness. Courses on topics such as what is communism, what is Marxism, how can a struggle be given, what is terrorism? What are the wrongful aspects of Darwinism and materialism? These should be taught.

Had they given the same effort to love, this world would turn into a Heaven on earth very shortly. But of course, God should be loved. Unbelievers and hypocrites demonstrate herding behavior, just like the animals. They act jointly. Just like reindeers, bison herds, unbelievers behave in herds as well. When they see a danger coming, they attack like a bison herd. Unbelievers behave in herds like that as well.

Muslims should be very perceptive, very foresighted and very wise, they should be vigilant; apathy would do them no good. Water sleeps but the hypocrites never rest. That disease might develop any moment. Muslims might explain to them the truth in all their honesty but they ridicule them inside and don't even listen to them.

Sometimes the acts of Muslim might look very much like the acts of a hypocrite but that doesn't make him a hypocrite, it only means that he caught a disease. When you save him from that disease, he would go on as a Muslim. But when you apply the same treatment to the hypocrite - there is a grave danger here - the hypocrite might appear as if he is saved as well, but he continues his ways underhandedly.

Hypocrites not only think nothing of the situation of the Muslims in the world but also are pleased with the fact that they do not shoulder those difficulties and responsibilities. They imagine themselves as very wise. They think that they are prudent and keep away from Muslims, keep away from incidents. They say, "I am really wise, I acted very sagaciously" unaware of the troubles that they've dragged themselves into and of the blessings bestowed upon Muslims. By doing so they proceed forward on their path in to the depths of Hell and in the meantime Muslims' reward, the Heaven they will be given, will shine even more.

Hypocrites- in their own minds- try to deceive the Prophet (saas) with the Qur'an. They say, "Doesn't God tell us to protect our families? And God shows us trade as a lawful path and that is what I am doing." Alright, but you need to look for the act that would please God the most, you need to be honest and sincere. There are Muslim women, inoffensive Muslims, being martyred and here you are talking about your trade. Do not act in infamy, come to your senses and stop acting foolishly. People are being killed there, Muslims are being martyred; is your trade more important than that? Are you that foolish?

Hypocrites ask the Prophet to excuse them, saying, ´Our houses are exposed,´ when they were not exposed. What do they mean by saying that their houses are exposed? They mean to say, "I have a family at home, I need to take care of them, of their education. I need to bring food to my spouse at home, I need to take care of her. My store is exposed as well. My trade is mired down, I need to take care of that." Well my brother, alright, but they are killing, martyring Muslims all over. Is your store more important or their being martyred?

Many people are not at all concerned with the command of Islam, they only are concerned with their own lives. They only want to get married, have children, set up a business but also want use Muslims, use being a Muslim, in the meantime. They mainly focus on their own ambitions; Islam is a background they can make use of for them, to have a circle, to make trade and to get married.

If you run after the transient world, God would make it constantly run away from you and the world would then become a trouble for you. However, the world would become beautiful with self-sacrificing people. For instance, our Prophet (saas) was very altruistic and selfless. His companions were very altruistic and selfless. None of them were self-seeking. Societies with self-seeking people collapse.

Many people are after their own pleasure and their own joy and use Islam to that end. They keep busy with their trade, looking for ways to eat, drink and travel, to get married and get on with their lives. This is the mindset of a great portion of the Islamic world. That is why God ruins the Islamic world. God wants them to turn towards Him yet they do not. God says, "You are after the transient blessings of this world but the Hereafter is the abode that is auspicious and beautiful, if you only knew."
