The pain the Islamic world is suffering right now is because they have become bogged down into the swamp of idolatry. The Islamic world is suffering a great deal because they have fallen into idolatry. Islam would have prevailed in the world long ago, if they were not in idolatry. They would have lived by, preached and disseminated Islam in peace, in comfort, in beauty and abundance.
No one would ever let Turkey be divided. No one would ever release Abdullah Öcalan. No Turkish policeman would ever let that happen. Our police officers are all nationalists. They all are very keen on our homeland, our people, our flag; they all risk death for God, for our homeland, for our flag.

The PKK has no cause. The PKK only has immorality, perfidiousness, corruption and treacherousness: Having a cause is something different.

A Muslim is attacked very often. A Muslim is the one who is attacked. A Muslim is the one with a lot of enemies. If one is a real Muslim, if he is a real man of causes, he would have a lot of enemies. How could one be a Muslim if he doesn't have hypocrites pestering him? Muslims have a lot of unbelievers and a lot of hypocrites pestering them.

The lack of a system that is based on faith and love creates a dreadful system. And that rules in this world as an inexplicable trouble.

Women are delicate beings, and men are responsible for looking after them in the best possible way. But if you approach them thinking that they are gullible, that would be highly humiliating. I mean if you force yourself onto her, if you have an exploiting mentality, that would be appalling.

The thing that the people of Heaven take the greatest joy in their faith in God, their love in God and God's manifesting Himself. That is what they take the greatest pleasure from. Otherwise it is not only the gardens, the tables of Heaven. What they enjoy the most in the Heaven is their love for God and God's manifesting Himself. That is how it is in this world as well.

People fail to love one another because there is no unity of the ummah in society. Everyone has a different faith. That inconsistency distresses them and because they are distressed by those inconsistencies, they are unable to love each other. Actually if they attained the unity of faith, if they have united under the same constitution, if they agree with each other, they would be getting along very easily.

Every father, every mother in society has a different, specific understanding of religion. Youngsters have such a specific understanding of religion as well. They contradict one another. They do not like each other's way. However, had everyone abided by the Qur'an, they would all become an ummah.

A Muslim should strongly avoid idolatry. He should use all his will- power, all his attention to avoid being dragged into such a swamp. He should know that everything he rates so highly in this world is empty.

The thing you want might be bad for you but you would not know. You persistently want it to happen but actually that might be bad for you. There is goodness in it if God does not grant you your wish. Some people freak out when they are not given what they ask for. It may be that it will bring you troubles if you are given what you have asked for, and God is protecting you by not giving it to you.

Let us say one cannot pass the university exam and freaks out. Maybe if you passed the exam, you would go there and die. Maybe it would drive you insane, maybe you will lose your mind, maybe you will lose your health. God does you a favor; you should resign yourself to this.

If you are losing something there is good in that. You haven't come to this world to live forever. You lose the smallest things and then obsess about it. What if you lose it? You are exaggerating it; actually there is nothing wrong in it if you look at things rationally.

What is the advantage of a lack of trust in God? One would only be suffering and humiliating himself in vain. He would be embarrassed before God. He would be hurting himself and doing something abnormal that is not compliant with reason or logic.

Muslims always ask for democracy, for tranquility. That is because in a tense environment, in an unsettled environment, faith does not develop completely. People remain weak. Faith only develops in a peaceful environment in which people can think deep and use their intellect.

There are two kinds of idolatry. The first one is confessed idolatry. For instance, they build up an idol and worship it. That is confessed idolatry. And there is also covert idolatry. That is believing that others, someone or something other than God has power. For instance, it is believing that people have independent power. Actually God is the One Who makes everyone speak, He is the One Who makes everyone speak and do things.
