The hypocrite never severs his relations with unbelief. It is food and drink to him. That is a characteristic that continues uninterrupted. For example, he will get up in the night and tell unbelievers all kinds of things about Muslims. That is why God tells us to be on our guard. We must be careful when we speak. Hypocrites must not be told Muslims’ secrets. But the hypocrite will draw close in order to learn them.

They wanted to murder the Prophet (pbuh) and there are intentions of murder in the stories of the prophets Joseph and Moses. When we look at the Qur’an we see that killing the believers and the prophets  at the top of their wish list. But God has always confounded them.
