Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him. (Mark, 3:9)
When God raised up His servant [Jesus], He sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways. (Acts, 3:26)
Jesus said to him, "... For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only." (Matthew, 4:10)
The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' (Mark, 12:29-30)
"Well said, teacher," the man replied. "You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him... When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God"... (Mark, 32-34)
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.'" (Luke, 4:8)

They looked for a way to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowd because the people held that he [Jesus] was a prophet. (Matthew, 21:46)

Jesus gave them this answer: "I tell you the truth, the messenger can do nothing by himself... (John, 5.19)
... I always do what pleases Him. (John, 8:29)
[Jesus:] "By myself I can do nothing... I seek not to please myself but Him [God] Who sent me." (John, 5:30)
[Jesus:] "... not to do my will but to do the will of Him [God] Who sent me." (John, 6:38)
It is God Who Makes the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) Speak
... The words I say to you are not just my own... (John, 14:10)
Jesus answered, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from Him Who sent me. (John, 7:16)
[Jesus:] "For I did not speak of my own accord, but my Lord Who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. I know that His command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what my Lord has told me to say." (John, 12:49-50)
[Jesus:] "He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to my Lord Who sent me." (John, 14:24)
[Jesus:] "... But He [God] Who sent me is true, and what I have heard from Him I tell the world." (John, 8:26)
For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God... (John, 3:34)
... And the power of the Lord was present for him [Jesus] to heal the sick. (Luke, 5:17)
"All things have been committed to me by my Lord"... (Matthew, 11:27)
Jesus knew that God had put all things under His power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God. (John, 13:3)
"My Lord, Who has given them to me, is greater than all..." (John, 10:29)
"... No one can come to me unless God has enabled him." (John, 6:65)
The Jews were amazed and asked, "How did this man get such learning without having studied?" Jesus answered, "My teaching is not my own. It comes from Him [God] Who sent me. If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the One [God] Who sent him is a man of truth..." (John, 7:15-18)
Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed... (Matthew, 26:39)
After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray... (Matthew, 14:23)
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. (Mark, 1:35)
After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray. (Mark, 6:46)
... Jesus said to his disciples, "Sit here while I pray." (Mark, 14:32)
One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God. (Luke, 6:12)
Once when Jesus was praying in private and his disciples were with him... (Luke, 9:18)
One day Jesus was praying in a certain place... (Luke, 11:1)
... But I have prayed for you [to God], Simon, that your faith may not fail... (Luke, 22:32)
Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, "Sit here while I go over there and pray." (Matthew, 26:36)
During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One [God] Who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. (Hebrews, 5:7)
"Bring them here to me," he said. And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish... he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. (Matthew, 14:18-19)
When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. (Luke, 24:30)
[Jesus:] "You are those who have stood by me in my trials." (Luke, 22:28)
The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. So if you worship me, it will all be yours." Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.'" (Luke, 4:5-8)
Then Jesus was led... into the desert to be tempted by the devil. (Matthew, 4:1)
Jesus... returned from the Jordan and... for forty days he was tempted by the devil. (Luke, 4.1-2)
And he [Jesus] was in the desert forty days, being tempted by satan... (Mark, 1:13)
After the devil had finished tempting Jesus in every possible way, he left him until another time. (Luke, 4:13)
