The angel answered, "I am Gabriel. I stand in the Presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news." (Luke, 1:19)
For it is written: 'He will command His angels concerning you to guard you carefully; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.' [They will protect Jesus (as) from any harm.] (Luke, 4:10-11)
... God sent the angel Gabriel to... a virgin. The virgin's name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you." Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great... How will this be," Mary asked the angel, "since I am a virgin?" The angel answered... For nothing is impossible with God. "I am the Lord's servant," Mary answered. "May it be to me as you have said." Then the angel left her. (Luke, 1:26-38)
An angel of the Lord appeared to them... and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people..." (Luke, 2:9-11)
Jesus said to him, "Away from me, satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only. Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.'" (Matthew, 4:10-11)
As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age... God will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the fiery furnace... (Matthew, 13:40-42)
This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. "Have you understood all these things?" Jesus asked. (Matthew, 13:49-50)
He [God] will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. (Matthew, 24:31; Mark, 13:26-27)

Many of the people of Israel will he bring back to the Lord their God... Zechariah asked the angel, "How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years." The angel answered, "I am Gabriel. I stand in the Presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news... And now you will be silent and not able to speak until the day this happens... (Luke, 1:10-20)
Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. "Quick, get up!" he said, and the chains fell off Peter's wrists. Then the angel said to him, "Put on your clothes and sandals." And Peter did so. "Wrap your cloak around you and follow me," the angel told him. Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision... Then Peter came to himself and said, "Now I know without a doubt that the Lord sent His angel and rescued me from Herod's clutches and from everything the Jewish people were anticipating." (Acts, 12:7-11)
Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal Gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people [He was conveying God's revelation to mankind]... He said in a loud voice, "Fear God and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come. Worship Him Who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water." (Revelation, 14:6-7)
Now Christ has gone to heaven. He is seated in the place of honor next to God, and all the angels and authorities and powers accept his authority. (1 Peter, 3:22)
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? (Hebrews, 1:14)
But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. "Go, stand in the temple courts," he said, "and tell the people the full message of this new life." (Acts, 5:19-20)

For it seems to me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession, like men condemned to die in the arena. We have been made a spectacle to the whole universe, to angels as well as to men. (1 Corinthians, 4:9)
