We are keeping up with Europe in terms of our national income

Presenter: What would you say about the global crisis throughout the world? 



Adnan Oktar: NOTHING WILL HAPPEN TO TURKEY. Nothing will happen to Turkish Islamic countries. On the contrary, there will be prosperity and abundance in those places. Here comes the age of abundance and prosperity Insha’Allah. By the leave of Allah we enter the Golden Age. Turkish countries will be happy, joyful and live in comfort. These crises are temporary indeed. They do not actually affect us but we of course do not want America be affected because of the crisis. We do not want the Christians to be in dire straits. We do our utmost regarding that Insha’Allah.

Adnan Oktar: Without losing confidence, Turkey is moving ahead better and better and will go on like that.  The morals of Islam prevail and the power of the believers increases. Darwinism is losing grounds. Materialism is losing grounds. The power of atheism completely stopped and started to regress in a fragile mood. There is a nice improvement in every respect and it is clearly seen that in the next 10 to 20 years this will hit the top.

Adnan Oktar: Everyone must honestly believe that Turkey is heading in good direction and that we will really become a super state. Turkey will be a greater state than it has ever been in the past. Insha’Allah, it will be the leader of the Turkish-Islamic world. We are at the initial stages of this historic mission. And the Turkish nation is one that will free the whole world from anarchy, terror, distress, pain and all its sufferings. It is a really noble, decent nation toughened by troubles and sufferings. It has a spirit oriented towards managing the world and being of use to it. It seems that Allah has bestowed this task on our nation, Insha’Allah. We shall soon see this coming true, Insha’Allah.  

In terms of National Income, Turkey steadily covers the gap with Europe.

In terms of per capita income Turkey is keeping up with Europe.  According to Eurostat (European Union statistical office), Turkey’s per capita income in 2010 - that was figured out by taking the purchasing power or Turkey into consideration- reached by 48 % of the average of Europe.

In 2002, Turkey’s per capita income was 36 % of EU. In 2004 this ratio reached by 40 %, in 2006 by 44 % and in 2008 it reached by 47 %.  Last year Turkey’s per capita income kept up with the half of EU average leaving two EU countries – Bulgaria and Romania – behind.
