What He Said?What Happened?

MPL TV Chess Board Programme, December 19-2008

Adnan Oktar:
Turkey is the big brother and best friend of the region. They are our neighbours. We have lived together for hundreds of years. There is only an artificial separation. Border gates should be opened, visas should be removed and there should be strong commercial relations as well as an environment of joy, peace and abundance to involve everywhere. The whole world should also witness the ugliness of backstabbing, egoism and selfishness of this world, and yearn for us.

Ekin TV, January 29-2009

Adnan Oktar: There is only one solution to this. One solution both material and spiritual: Turkish Islamic Union. A large Islamic Union with the support of Turkish countries, in the leadership of Turkey. This would be the most honest, dignified and trustworthy structure in the whole world.  I mean we are from the same descent, the same religion, the same race. I mean we have everything in common. There are many border gates, we should open those. Let’s open the border gates of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Iran, Iraq and Syria. Let’s go and trade freely, talk to one another and socialise. They are a part of us, our brothers and sisters. Why go there with a passport? We should pass the borders freely.

Vatan, January 25-2010

Minister of State Hayati Yazıcı and Minister of Commerce of Iraq Sefa El- Din El Safi, have come to an accommodation about opening up new border gates between Turkey and Iraq. Minister Yazıcı noted that the only active border gate between Turkey and Iraq is the “Habur” border gate and that Ministers of Commerce and Domestic Affairs of both countries have reached an agreement to open two customs gates.
