It is becoming cleaner and healthier and stronger all the time.  IT WILL BE THE LEADER OF THE WHOLE MIDDLE EAST, THE BALKANS, THE WHOLE ISLAMIC WORLD AND THE TURKIC WORLD, INSHA’ALLAH. THE TURKISH-ISLAMIC WORLD WILL UNITE, AND A GREAT TURKISH-ISLAMIC UNION WILL FORM. TURKEY WILL LEAD IT AND SERVE AS OLDER BROTHER AND WILL BE THE THIRD POWER IN THE WORLD, it will be a balancing element in addition to America and Russia and will bring an age of peace and security to the world, insha’Allah.

Attending a fundraising campaign organized by Turkish and Azeri businessmen, U.S. Vice-President Joe Biden said that he regretted the way that the European Union had so far “...kept the door of admission closed” to Turkey. Biden then went on to say, "Ankara is one of our most important allies. Like the President (Obama), I am highly critical of the way that some of our European allies have not admitted Turkey to full membership of the economic union and have not fully recognized Turkey as a part of Europe.” Biden then emphasized that his attitude toward Syria was the same as that of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and that he hoped that Turkey would play a leadership role in the region, “Nobody knows whether the Arab Spring will turn to winter or not in the future. Nobody knows what will happen. But we do know that there is nothing that we will not work together and be active with the Turkish administration on.”
