The Atlas of Creation: an 800-page book opposed to Darwin’s theory of evolution
There are those who want to repeat in Switzerland Creationist successes in various states of America: Creationism must replace the theory of evolution in class. And as a scientific fact in biology text...
Unexpected support for this idea has come from Turkey. According to a report in Le Matin, The Atlas of Creation, published by Global Publishing, has been sent to schools in Western Switzerland. This move from the writer Harun Yahya was initiated from Istanbul. After France, the book has now reached Germany.
The Atlas has also been sent to journalists and scientists. The book consists of 800 pages and explains how Charles Darwin"s theory of evolution is wrong. According to the book, life never evolved, but was created by a Creator. The world was also created by Allah in the same way.
Martin Scheidegger, head of the religious groups and sects advisory office, says that Creationism first appeared in the ‘70s. Today, Creationists are celebrating their success. But Scheidegger says: "It is impossible to put Creationism on the curriculum in Switzerland today."... But is that really the case? The results of a science magazine poll which asked people in 34 countries what they thought about the theory of evolution suggest not. According to the survey, 4 Swiss out of 10 reject Darwin’s theory of evolution. 4 May, 2007, Silvana Guanziroli
... The aim behind the Turkish author Harun Yahya sending his Atlas of Creation to Swiss schools is for education to be given in line with Creationist belief, not Darwin’s theory of evolution, in biology text books.
... All Switzerland is now talking about this. And with great excitement and fervor...
