The abjad value of the verse, “It is the Day when mankind will be like scattered moths” gives the date 1995

The year 1995 was the most bloody time during the war in Bosnia – Herzegovina. The “Srebrenica Massacre” took place on 11^th July, 1995 and 8300 Muslims were martyred.

The word, “FARASHI” as mentioned in the 4^th verse of the surah as “SCATTERED MOTHS” means BUTTERFLIES AND MOTHS. Accordingly, the SYMBOL OF THE BOSNIAN WAR is BLUE BUTTERFLIES as indicated in the verse. Blue butterflies feed on the flowers that sprout on graves and their wings are blue in color.

Serbians perpetrated mass massacres during the Bosnian War between 1992 and 1995, and dug graves deep underground to prevent detection of the dead bodies. However, later on the International Court of Justice decreed that there was no evidence of a genocide carried out by Serbia. In consequence, the Bosnian state established a commission for the disclosure of mass graves. One year later, the commission was alerted by the change in the geological structure of certain regions and the spread of blue butterflies on specific areas. Following excavation in those provinces where blue butterflies were abundant, a total of 300 mass graves were unearthed remaining from the time of Bosnian War.

The words, “like scattered moths” in reference to the verse may be indicative of the location of the mass graves belonging to Muslims who were martyred in those mass genocides. God knows best.
