Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar’s live interview dated September 6th, 2011
Surat as-Saffat,
The Prophet Abraham (pbuh) says,
“Is it falsehood – gods besides Allah – that you desire?”
Some of these people adopt Abdullah Ocalan as their god, while others adopt Stalin or Lenin. The perverse types in those times also acted like that.
“So what are your thoughts about the Lord of all the worlds?”
I ask people, “Do you believe in Allah?” He asks “What are your thoughts about Allah?” Look, he says:
“He took a look at the stars.”
This is knowledge from the mind of Allah. Our brothers who know this will be able to unravel many matters, including understanding me.
“He took a look at the stars.“
The Prophet Abraham (pbuh) looks at the stars in the sky.
“and said, ‘I am sick’.”
This is knowledge from the mind of Allah. The Prophet Abraham (pbuh) is not sick. He does not infer anything from the stars. Muslims do not draw conclusions from the stars. That is out of the question. But he tells them he is ill. Though he is not.
“So they turned their backs on him.”
He gets results from this knowledge from the mind of Allah, from this secret knowledge. He has done the right thing. The same thing applies to the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) and the Prophet Abraham (pbuh). And Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will have it, too.
“He turned surreptitiously to their gods and said, ‘Do you not eat?”
Look, he gently mocks and makes fun of their gods. But they are unaware of it. This is also knowledge from the mind of Allah.
“What is the matter with you that you do not speak?”
This is also knowledge from the mind of Allah. The Prophet Abraham (pbuh) is not ascribing equals to Allah since he does not believe in the idols. But he addresses them as though they had the power of speech: “What is the matter with you that you do not speak?”
This is also acting on secret knowledge.
“He turned on them, striking out with his right hand.”
This is another reflection of that knowledge.
“They came rushing back to him.”
They suddenly wake up and realize what is happening.
“He said, ‘Do you worship something you have carved?”
Look he now moves from secret to open knowledge. “He said, ‘Do you worship something you have carved?” You are inventing fantasies for yourselves. What do I say to? “You are making all this up yourselves. Can protein come about by chance? No. Where did you get that idea from? Fossils; there are 350 million fossils all proving creation. Are there any fossils showing the opposite? Is there a single fossil corroborating Darwinism? No. So where did you get this idea from?” I ask.
“when Allah created both you and what you do?”
Allah also created Abdullah Ocalan, and Stalin and Lenin. Allah created everything.
“They said, ‘Build a pyre for him and fling him into the blaze’.”
This building is the prisons of our time. “…fling him into the blaze,” in other words, put him to death with the worst torture, martyr him. That is what they say.
“They tried to outwit him but We made them the lowest.”
This is also an application of knowledge from the mind of Allah. He allows a prophet to act on it, and also applies it Himself.
“He [Abraham] said, ‘I am going towards my Lord; He will be my guide.”
He says, “I place my hope in Allah.”
“’My Lord, bestow on me a right-acting child!’ And We gave him the good news of a forbearing boy.”
Someone who is learned, humble and not aggressive. Forbearance is a characteristic of Muslims.
“When he was of an age to work with him, he said, ‘My son, I saw in a dream that I must sacrifice you’.”
He dreamed of killing him.
“What do you think about this?’ He (his son Ishmael] said:”
He is the father of our Arab brothers today. The Arab nation is descended from him.
“Do as you are ordered, father.”
Though he is still a young child.
“Allah willing, you will find me resolute.”
He is devoted to Allah with a deep faith.
“Then when they had both submitted and he had lain him face down on the ground,
We called out to him, ‘Abraham!
you have discharged your vision.’ That is how We recompense good-doers.”
In other words, Almighty Allah is saying, “I have seen that you love Me more than your own child.” “Your child is fully submitted to Allah,” He says, “and you are also fully submitted.” Because both are prophets, the Prophet Ishmael (pbuh) and the Prophet Abraham (pbuh). Allah bestowed the moral values of a prophet of Ishmael (pbuh) from an early age.
“This was indeed a most manifest trial.”
This means that Allah tests believers in a very intense way. They have to be good natured, steadfast and submitted to Him.
“We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice.”
A ram. The prophet Abraham (pbuh) sacrifices the ram there. They cook it and eat it, insha’Allah. That lovely smell of roasting meat.
“and left the later people saying of him:”
One should pray for the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) and his line at every prayer. One must pray for the success of the Prophet Abraham’s (pbuh) line. What will happen when that prayer is heeded? The global dominion of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), of the Imam Mahdi (pbuh), insha’Allah.
“Peace be upon Abraham.”
And we also greet him.
