Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's live interview on Kackar TV dated October 6, 2010
What assailed you on the day the two armies met was by Allah’s permission, so that He would know the believers, (Surah Al ‘Imran, 166)
and so that He would know the hypocrites. They were told, “Come and fight in the Way of Allah or at least help defend us.” They said, “If we knew how to fight, we would certainly follow you.” They were closer to disbelief that day than to faith, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts. And Allah knows best what they are hiding. (Surah Al ‘Imran, 167)
Hypocrites wait for the moment to attack Muslims. That is the time when the hypocrite most clearly gives himself away. He will wait for months, or years. There are two communities – Muslims, and those who attack them. Hypocrites are unaware that Allah has created their assault. But it is an honor for Muslims. It raises their rank, and a believer becomes one of those with whom Allah is pleased. The words that most infuriate hypocrites are, “Come and fight in the Way of Allah or at least help defend us.” Say that and it hits the hypocrite right where it hurts. When one says, “Come and strive together to establish the Turkish-Islamic Union” one hits the hypocrite right where it hurts. They say there would be no question if they knew how to fight, but they are lying, of course. Of course they have sides that resemble faith, but on days such as that the disbelief side of them becomes evident. The hypocrite keeps the truth hidden in his heart. Anger really damages a person. It is like a scourge kept locked away. Their anger finishes them off. It burns them, attacks their bodies and strangles them, though they are unaware of it. Their anger attacks them as a lethal power. It ruins them!
Because the hypocrite is burning up inside it is that which spurs him into action and that anger inside him claws at him all the time. He attacks Muslims, and inflicts troubles on himself, in order to escape that. The hypocrite literally cannot believe his own eyes. He thinks he can easily resolve the problem, but it does not happen. There is a three-dimensional marble in a bowl. It is like you can easily pick it up. One puts one’s hand in to try and pull the marble out, but it comes out empty. They have used a wonderful technique. You wouldn’t think otherwise; it looks like there is a metal marble in a metal bowl. It appears as solid as this book, no game of light; it seems to be right there, but one’s hand comes back empty. It is the same with the hypocrite; he is always on the attack, but always comes up empty. Each of his snares is created so that they will be thwarted. Allah compares the hypocrite to a dog. It barks all the time. It barks whether you say anything to it or not. Allah compares the hypocrite to a dog that lolls out its tongue and pants. It lolls out its tongue and pants whether you make a move toward it or not.
