Aiming at those who are whipping up artificial tension between Armenia and Turkey, Mr. Adnan Oktar is constantly mentioning that we should leave the pain of the past, in the past, and if we look to the past, we would be opening the gates of enmity between Armenia and Turkey; instead of this, we should come together and start a new era. If we start looking to the past, we would be opening the gates of enmity and hostility. We have left behind the slaughters in Asala, the Khojaly Massacres, the clashes in Anatolia. These were the sins, the affront of those who lived in the past. Now there is a new generation, and this generation has no relation to the things that happened in the past. We don’t have the mindset of the 1800’s, the 1900’s: There was ignorance at that time, there was a huge affect of Darwinism and materialism. Now we are in the era of the Internet. There is no reason to bring up the ignorance of the old times. Allah commands us to forgive in the Qur'an; we must forgive what was done to us and we give our blessings. There is forgiveness and tolerance also in the Bible. Our Armenian brothers may forgive us if there is any injustice between us, they may give their blessings so we can start a brand new era so that we may live the love, brotherhood, and friendship to the fullest. They have separated us artificially, so we must overcome this separation. We must come together and build a beautiful and bright future. If we start counting bones then it would be like laying the foundation of an enmity that will progress for hundreds of years. It means that the people who bring these subjects up, they want enmity. Bringing up the issues by saying what has happened in 1915, how people were slaughtered in Asala, what have happened in Khojaly don’t bring love, brotherhood, friendship. We will leave the past in the past, insha’Allah. There is forgiveness in the Qur'an. Allah tells us in the Qur'an that it is good to forgive even the murderers. There is forgiveness and tolerance also in the Bible. We choose the way of forgiveness. We give our blessings. Our Armenian brothers may forgive us if there is any injustice between us, they may give their blessings, so we can start a brand new era. We don’t want to be stuck in the past. We don’t care about the past. Even if we look back to the past, the people who did these massacres don’t exist right now, there is a new generation. Are we going to pay off the massacres in Asala from our blameless Armenian brothers? How can that be? We don’t have the mindset of the 1800’s, the 1900’s. We have the mindset of the 2000s. We act with love, forgiveness, tolerance and mercy. We are looking to the future, we are thinking about what we can do in the future. We would like to build a bright future. We would like our business, art, cultural and scientific works to be mutual. We need each other in science, art and technology in every issue. Why aren’t we together? Lets built universities, factories, science centers together. Let's develop the science and art. Iron curtains and walls made of stone are in the past, now we don’t want them anymore. The future will be very beautiful and bright for the Turkish nation and our Armenian brothers. |
