ADNAN OKTAR:  Young people sing songs, they chant, they feel joy. Why would I make them feel unease? Why would I bother them? Why would I force them to believe in our faith? First of all, the freedom they enjoy in their own faith is a beauty. This is something that gives relief to us. He must be free according to his own faith. How nice! It shows that democracy is experienced very well. If everyone lives as if they are obliged to embrace a certain view, people will feel very disturbed.

People can drink, sing, speak, walk, pray, cover their heads or wear hijab as they like. Everyone should be very free. Young girls can wear low-cut tops as they like. They can go wherever they wish. Trying to recommend certain things to them, talking to them pedantically are unbecoming. We can only say what we know with an affectionate style. They can heed if they wish. If they don’t, then we must still be merciful to them.

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course when we see the young people enjoying their freedom, our hearts find relief. We feel contended when we see them joyful. Anyone who wants to pray can pray. No one can interfere in other people’s deeds. Everyone must be mature and tolerant. For a long time, I have been thinking that young people must be joyful. They must dress well and be full of joy. They must play music, have fun. Insha’Allah.

Trying to set someone straight. We must respect everyone’s lifestyle. For instance, I would be disturbed from it. If we bother someone, then that would make me feel bad. For instance there is democracy. You can set someone straight with fear. That is quite true:. But that would render him a hypocrite. He should be just sincere and say, “I am a communist”, for instance. He is what he is. He may also have a different faith. For instance he may have an interesting faith.

The CHP Party Assembly convened in the leadership of Kemal Kılıcdaroglu at  their  party headquarters. Mr. Kılıcdaroglu stated that young people aspire for freedom, democracy and love:

The young people say, “We want to live in a free manner with our differences. What is better than this! Is it becoming to go with stones, sticks and tanks upon them? They should be kissed on the forehead. They broadened our horizons. We will make no discrimination because of their faith or their clothes. We will make them jewels in our crown. They are the future of our country. We will protect our future. A country that can’t protect their young people can not protect the future of its country.”
