Adnan Oktar: Apart from the socialist parties, all the political parties in Turkey are on the side of Islamic and Qur’anic moral values. Even Deniz Baykal, head of the [opposition] Republican People’s Party (CHP) takes his grandsons to the mosque. He prays and wants them to learn Qur’anic moral values. He is a man supporting these. The right-wing parties in Turkey allenthusiastically espouse Islam and the Qur’an.
Our armed forces are also highly respectful of Islam. They are full of love. If you notice, all the members of the armed forces attend the funeral services of the martyrs, they pray and always speak of Allah. Our army has been a devout one for a long time. But of course they are also intellectual and very forward-looking. They are against backwardness and conservatism. But they have a deep respect for Islam and the Qur’an. And they put that into action. All the executives of the army join in the prayers. And they perform the salat in full compliance with the practices of our Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant him peace). We look at what is seen, what is on the outside and this is a sign. A sign of Islam and a sign of faith. That is why I am very optimistic for Turkey. Progress is very good. Turkey is making rapid progress toward leadership of the Turkish-Islamic Union. Islamic countries are very much in favor. And also the Turkic states. I believe this union will come about in the next 10 years, insha’Allah.

Adnan Oktar: However our hearts long for all the political parties -MHP, Saadet, BBP, Democratic Party and AKP- to unite and to bring forward the Turkish Islamic Union in a loud. Because they all have the same opinion, but as a person I like and respect Mr. Deniz Baykal very much. I find him very honest, no matter what they say, I find him a very sincere and heartfelt Muslim. Because a corrupted person would not have his face. I mean an abnormal person would not have such a face. He is very heartfelt, I mean with his joy, modernity, attitude, he is a nice person. One more thing, if Allah made someone like him a party leader, then there is good in it. I mean no ordinary person could have such a duty.
Sometimes they say that let’s change and appoint this person, let’s move Deniz Baykal and bring in that person, as if leadership is something easy. They see it like a grocery store. It is not something like that. Leadership is a big deal. If a person is a leader, if Allah brought him to that position, then there is something about it. Therefore, my advice to my brothers and sisters in CHP is to unite under Baykal’s leadership, to respect his opinions to the fullest. They recently strengthened his authority, and I think it was right to do so. Of course he should have authority. They should keep deranged people away, not to bother him. If they carry out Deniz Baykal’s decisions, CHP could have 300 or 400 members in Parliament since his attitude is very honest and sincere. But CHP has Darwinist and socialist members. I see that they don’t ensure him any convenience. There are also Maoist and all sorts of people. And they even give recommendations while they are unable to help themselves, I watched on television recently. I mean you show some courtesy and state manners to a leader. You think of him as your next Prime Minister. So you want him to run the State. Yet his manner is like when talking to a friend on the street, there should be some courtesy. We should be able to trust our leader. So if he did something, you put your trust in him. For example CHP brings forth an opening and they all say “oh what is going on or what are we doing?” It is going great. He acts with kindness just like his Ottoman descent. He does things in line with his forefathers. What is there to be surprised about? Deniz Baykal is a real Turkish nationalist and he is trustworthy with this standpoint. I would like to point this out also.

Adnan Oktar: It will be for the good insha’Allah, it will be great. I mean our parties are full of good and nice people, all of them. I think that they are all nice and decent people. Devlet Bahçeli, Muhsin Yazıcı, Mr. Tayyip are gentlemen, Anatolian people, Deniz Baykal is a real Muslim descent and a real gentleman. They are all perfect people. However, our people always go after the most sincere, the most warm one. Whoever approaches with the Qur’anic morality, whoever seems to the purest, whoever is heartfelt and a liberal, whoever supports democracy, whoever could clear them of their fears, then they go after him. Our people look for love and peace more than money. Therefore, for example this breakthrough of CHP is very significant. Very good. They are in a manner well in line with Atatürk’s soul and personality. Because Atatürk was a lover of Islam, a lover of the Qur’an, a lover of Allah. They began to strengthen the attitude in line with his heritage, moral heritage. This is a very good improvement. I appreciate it in that sense. But of course our people look for love, tranquility, peace, brotherhood and democracy. They say that people are hungry and so, but our people are used to hunger. We have an issue about love. We look for love. We look for trust, friendship and brotherhood. If we had that, then a piece of bread and a pinch of cheese would do just fine insha’Allah.
Deniz Baykal, making a surprise appearance at the “Blessed Birth Week”, began his speech by reading a verse from the Surah at-Takwir. Baykal, who was often met with applauds, continued his speech by giving references from the Quranic verses and hadiths. Baykal, who gave information about the Prophet Mohammed (May Allah bless him and grant him peace)’s life, said, “The Prophet Mohammed (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) explains the Qur’an, which was sent to us as a hope for our hopelessness, as a way out of our helplessness and as a mercy for our mistakes, with both his actions and his words. The Prophet Mohammed (May Allah bless him and grant him peace)’s life is the explanation of the Qur’an. The Prophet Mohammed (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) showed us that the Qur’anic life can be lived. He showed all of us that the Qur’an does not display an abstract understanding that no one can reach or accomplish to the fullest, that the Qur’an is brings forth an understanding, which is implementable and which can be experienced. The Prophet Mohammed (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) is a milestone in human history. The Prophet Mohammed (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) is a Prophet, and like all the other Prophets, he is a human being who did not represent godhood by himself, he only conveyed a message.”
Baykal, who noted in his speech that the religion of Islam is based on good morals, continued his speech as follows:
“The Prophet Mohammed (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) not only supported science, but he also started the first literacy mobilization. The Qur’an liberated people and ensured that justice is the key factor in social life. The Qur’an is sent to not just one nation or race, but to all humanity. To approach religion with the intention of gaining a fortune or fame is the biggest disrespect that could be done to the essence of Islam. Each person believes with his or her free will. No person bears the sins of another. Only the worthy can enter Heaven… There is no need for anyone intervening if you are a good person… Counsel, justice and giving responsibility to expert people are the basic values. But these are all elements, which are not in the monopoly of politics and which should always be protected. Consultation is a must...”
The attitude lately shown by Baykal astonishes people, as he was called a “Fomenter” due to his former political moves. The CHP leader draws a very different portrait with the messages he sent to AK Party and President Gül about the Constitution, his retreat from his aggressive manners and his positive comments..
