It is certain that in the time of QAIM [HAZRAT MAHDI (AS)] IF A BELIEVER IS IN THE EAST, HE WILL PERSONALLY SEE HIS BROTHER IN THE WEST. IF HE IS IN THE WEST, HE WILL SEE HIS BROTHER IN THE EAST. (Bihar al-Anwar, v. 52, p. 391) |
In this hadith our Prophet (saas) refers to the advanced technology that will be developed during the 1400s (Islamic calendar), the time of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as). The videophones and camera systems in computers produced in the 21st century have made it possible to establish visual links and speak with people all over the world whenever we wish. With these developments, yet another portent of the coming of Hazrat Mahdi (as) has become a reality.
