A human being is prone to easily get accustomed to all images he sees unless he fully exercises his conscience. As a requisite of the trial in this world, Allah created human sprit prone vulnerable to inculcations. Starting with birth, human behavior is influenced by inculcations of others. Unless a person is reminded of the fact that it is Allah Who creates everything and he is responsible for thinking and grasping the superior wisdom in Allah’s Creation, that person may well lead all his life with a superficial outlook. Instead, in case he is constantly made to believe that keeping up with the superstitious beliefs of others with blind eyes is sufficient, almost a mist covers him. Starting from the childhood years because he does not step out of this mist, the difference and comfort of a clear and sharp outlook does not even occur to his mind. This mist that surrounds one is called “familiarity.”
Allah creates everything in this world dependant upon certain causes. This is part of the trial of man in this world. For instance a baby comes into being as a result of a specific process Allah creates. For a baby to come into being, a sperm has to meet the ovum in the outer section of the fallopian tube. The first cell comes into being and starts to divide. At the end of a certain period, each group of cells, almost in a conscious manner, shape the features of the organ it will make up in accordance with the information coded in the DNA. Some group of cells make up eyes while others make up the brain and nose. As a result of this process, a human being comes into existence. Including the moment of birth, from the moment a human being starts his life in the womb by the merge of a sperm and an ovum until its birth, every moment of the process of birth is a great miracle. Each development in this process, which we could only outline here, is the subject of a separate book. However, instead of thinking over these wonders of Creation, each of which are miracles, under the inculcation of evil, one may direct his attention to insignificant, and even inane subjects which will bring no benefit both in this world and the Hereafter. A person may forget and ignore the fact that (Allah is beyond that), similar to the process of birth, every detail in the universe is created by Allah’s leave and solely by His command “Be.”
Verily, when He intends a thing, His Command is, "be", and it is!
(Surah Ya Sin, 82 )
"... Allah created what He willed: When He had decreed a plan, He but said to it, 'Be,' and it is! (Surah Al-Imran, 47)
It is a great blessing for a human being that Allah creates every incident in the flow of certain causes. For instance, as is seen in the picture left, were a person’s appearance all of a sudden change from his childhood to senility, he would be confused and would not know what to do. Yet, by our All-Mighty Allah’s mercy, every person walks, grows teeth and speaks within years. His appearance and voice changes, and almost at each decade some physical changes happen in his appearance. At a certain time he starts to age. However what seems reasonable in this chain of causes should not mislead a person. The fact that these developments take place in time should not drift one into familiarity. If Allah made a newborn talk like a conscious adult, or years would not be needed for a person to become taller and Allah would make him tall all of a sudden, a person would no doubt see the miraculous aspects of events very clearly. Because these are very unfamiliar events, one would be highly excited. The absence of concepts of “time” or “repetition” would make one grasp Allah’s superior might of Creation. In such a case, there might be no need to convince someone to make him see the miraculous aspects of events.
However, as a requisite of the trial in this world, our All-Mighty Allah created these miracles in a form that they can grasp only after they think, exercise their wisdom and open their conscience. This is only to make sincere believers be separated from disbelievers and make only sincere believers attain infinite rewards in the Hereafter. Indeed, for a person of faith with wisdom and conscious everything he sees around are examples of Allah’s miraculous creation.
"He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on Earth, both declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (Surat al-Hashr, 24)
