Mr. Adnan Oktar has stated that everyone needs to be patient about the allegations of graft, and that such cases progress slowly but there is a solid investigation ongoing into the matter. However, there was a statement in the press soon after that the government was working on fighting against graft and creating more transparency. A9 TV: February 10th, 2014 ADNAN OKTAR: The laws and regulations are followed. There is no place where the laws are not applied; maybe things move slowly but all cases generally move slowly. Nothing happens in a flash. No case file ever gets lost. No allegation ever disappears. Everything will be clarified. If they want it move faster, they can file a legislative proposal. But everything needs time. Things will be investigated, verified and examined. A9 TV: January 27th, 2014 ADNAN OKTAR: As far as I know, it is impossible for a case file to get lost. It is impossible that evidence gets lost. I believe that things are progressing. It seems so when we look at the general flow of things. The courts have a reasonable course; let’s wait for it insha’Allah. But the government has to emphasize this. They actually emphasize it, but I just find it useful to remind people about it from time to time. They are doing the right thing as far as I can see. January 16th, 2014: A9 TV ADNAN OKTAR: I have said this many times to Tayyip hodja, very openly, that they must confront the crimes and the criminals, thieves and grifters, if any. If someone committed a crime, he or she should go to prison after returning what is stolen from the state back to the state. But the government’s activities should not be halted because of this. There is no logic in trying to overthrow the government over this. There could be a thousand crimes, but the government continues on its path because what is important is whether or not they catch the guilty parties. If the government does not catch them, then it is not doing its job: Then it is right to expect a resignation. But if the government does catch them and encourages the implementation of the law, then the government is successful. Have they done it up until now? Yes they have. They have opened investigations into about 400 municipalities that belong to the AK Party. And the AK Party followed this through. So what is the problem? A9 TV: December 26th, 2013 ADNAN OKTAR: The government will catch whoever committed a crime. Therefore, it would not be right to give an impression of weakness. Sometimes I see this in the people in the press; this is wrong. Even if officials miss something initially, they realize it later on. Therefore, there will not be any problems. The state will not collapse with the efforts of three or ten people. There could be people around the Prime Minister who made mistakes. If someone really made such a mistake, the laws are clear. The legislative system will work and what is necessary will be done. The AK Party will continue on its path; there is a mission here. The AK Party is not composed of only three people. It is a mentality that represents millions. Therefore, there is no need to make a fuss over nothing or strive against the laws. A9 TV: December 24th, 2013 ADNAN OKTAR: How will you cover it up? How will you do it? I am looking at the high criminal courts: there are three judges and three prosecutors. The verdicts generally go to a higher court. There is the Supreme Court. The evidence and the files are out in the open. Sometimes the evidence can be wrong but mostly it is correct. But it requires some patience. There is no need for haste. Justice moves slowly but strongly. |
