What He Said?What Happened?

Denge TV, July 3rd, 2008

Adnan Oktar: Kurdish problem completely raised artificially. In my childhood, my youth I had lots of Kurdish friends. This couldn’t be crossed through anyone’s mind. We have had Kurdish relatives. This couldn’t be crossed through anyone’s mind. My master Said Nursi was Kurdish. I love him very much. He is a gorgeous person. He is the most excellent person of the century. The biggest scholars were also from Kurds. They were from the Kurdish scholars. Kurdish people are the most decent, the most well-behaved people in Turkey. I mean they are hospitable, warm hearted, well-behaved. They enjoy respect and deference. They are honorable. The whole Anatolian people are generally like this. But truly I saw this in my Kurdish brothers and sisters intensively very much. Generally they are intensively well-behaved and religious. They are very religious like the Anatolian people. But it is very important that very important scholars are from them. This is a sign from Allah. That’s why I love my Kurdish brothers and sisters very much. I respect them very much, revere them very much. I want them to rest, to live in peace and quiet, to be in economic welfare, to live in peace in their homes, gardens, fields very much as the whole Turkey, the whole Turkish world,  the whole Islamic world.

Erzincan Can TV, July 14th, 2008

Adnan Oktar: That is solved this way. It has to be said: “Revert from Laicism is impossible ever. As Marxists, atheists, Alawite, Sunni, Kurdish, Circassian, Laz we are all brothers and sisters. We are one. It is definite that it is like this. Everybody’s justice, law will be looked after, will be protected accurately.

Mardin Channel 47, July 28, 2008

Adnan Oktar: All of them, all of them, Sanliurfa, Diyarbakir, Siirt, for example Tillo is the home of Said Nursi. I know that my beloved brothers and sisters exist there. I love all of them. All the, all the KURDS, ARABS, SAYYIDS, TURKS, LAZS ARE ALL MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS AND ACCORDING TO ME ALL OF THEM ARE TURKISH. All of them are my identical brothers and sisters, all of them are my beloveds. UNDER THE SAME FLAG, AS ONE NATION, AS ONE BODY INSHAALLAH, VE ARE BROTHERS AND SISTERS. But Allah has created us as nation to nation. It is in the Qur’an. We can be from many nations. It doesn’t matter. No one has any superiority over another, except righteousness. I take refuge in Allah from satan, Allah states: “Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you.” The all matter is to be righteous, sincere. I take refuge in Allah, Allah states that only His righteous servants will attain felicity. My brothers and sisters which are there can be from any nation, I don’t mind. I mind their virtue and under this flag as a citizen of this country, he says that he is Turkish. I applaud him. So the issue is over.

Milli Gazete, October 12th, 2008

Prime Minister Tayyip Erdoğan: “TURKISH, KURDISH, LAZ OR CIRCASSIAN... ACCORDING TO US THEY ARE ALL THE SAME. WE HAVE THE SAME DISTANCE TO OUR ALL CITIZENS.”

Recai Kutan: WE ARE ALL BROTHERS AND SISTERS AS TURKISH AND KURDISH.

Deniz Baykal: Government doesn’t deal with the ethnic identity. Everybody’s ethnicity is their honour. Our ethnicity isn’t an obstacle for us to be the citizens of the same nation, to be equal citizens. No to make the ethnic identity to be the reason for political separation, no to discrimination, no to factionalism, no to terrorism for this. TO HAVE DIFFERENT ETHNICAL IDENTITIES ISN’T AN OBSTACLE FOR US TO LIVE FRATERNALLY.
