The construction of Central Asia’s biggest regional mosquehas been started in Dushanbe, capital city of Tajikistan.
President of Tajikistan, Imamali Rahman broke ground for the construction of the mosque that is to be built in a capacity of housing 150 thousand people.
The mosque will have an area of 7,5 hectares that would cover an Islamic University, a library, a museum, conferance halls and pools with sprinkler systems. The complex is planned to be completed in five years time.
