A Creationist Challenges Darwinism With Million Dollar Prize

Canarias7, daily published in Las Palmas, the capital of Canary Islands, published a column about Mr. Adnan Oktar with the title “A Creationist Challenges Darwinism with Million Dollar Prize” on September 29^th, 2008.

A Turkish creationist with the name Adnan Oktar initiated a duel against Darwinism, by offering 10 trillion Turkish liras to the scientist who can bring a single fossil that proves the evolutionary process.

According to the English newspaper The Independent, 52 year old Oktar, aka Harun Yahya, is a person who loudly criticizes the “Darwinist dictatorship” and is very popular in Turkey. He asserts that there is no single fossil record that supports the theory of Charles Darwin with scientific evidence.

Oktar has gained an incredible reputation after the 800-page Atlas of Creation, in which he explained that living forms have not changed for millions of years.

The Turk answers the criticisms of Richard Dawkins, the English biologist and an atheist, as “he cannot present any fossil that proves Darwinism.”
